Bunqer is a creative duo consisting of Tine Tabak and Niels van Heijningen, a writer/dramaturge and a mimer/actor. In their work, they strive to connect the thinking body with the adventurous spirit. Their mission is to put ‘mime writing’ on the map and explore how the performative, physical, and honest power of mime can be combined with the poetic and narrative power of language. In this way, they aim to create stories that are unrestrained and full of life. Bunqer seeks to inspire the audience to lead bold, daring, and mindful lives. They have previously created work for Boslab Theater Festival, Podium Bloos, and Studio/K.
